چکیده
A non-contact torque sensor based on a magnetostrictive Fe30Co70 rod wound with an excitation coil and pickup is proposed in this paper. In the magnetic field range 0–30 kA/m, changing rate linearity of magnetostriction loading samples are significantly improved after heat treatment. Maximum 103 ppm annealed sample parallel direction, while its tensile strength allowable shear stress 608 194.56 MPa, respectively. According to mathematical model presented work, there linear relationship between output voltage torque. An apparent increase induced signal (peak voltage) 48.23 mV observed as increases 20 Nm case applying sinusoidal signals. addition, experimental results consistent calculated values within 0–16 Nm, good sensitivity 2.87 mV/Nm obtained. This work shows prospect alloy for sensing appropriate property no orientation requirement.

A Study of a Handrim-Activated Power-Assist Wheelchair Based on a Non-Contact Torque Sensor
Demand for wheelchairs is increasing with growing numbers of aged and disabled persons. Manual wheelchairs are the most commonly used assistive device for mobility because they are convenient to transport. Manual wheelchairs have several advantages but are not easy to use for the elderly or those who lack muscular strength. Therefore, handrim-activated power-assist wheelchairs (HAPAW) that can ...
متن کاملTemperature Distribution Sensor Based on Magnetostrictive Delay Lines
In this paper we propose a new family of temperature distribution sensors based on the magnetostrictive delay line technique. An array of parallel conductors is set orthogonal to the delay line and used for pulsed current transmission. coil is set around the one end of the delay line in order to receive the magneto-elastic pulses. A platinum wire or a thermistor is electrically connected to the...
متن کاملNon-contact breath sensor based on a Doppler detector
Respiratory activity is an important parameter for observation of human body activity. A normal adult has a respiratory rate of 12–15 breaths/min in normal conditions. Breath sensor based on non-contact Doppler detector allows for the measurement and detection and the absence of the breathing action, which may cause death in a few minutes. The monitoring and detection of some respiratory abnorm...

In this paper, design and construction of a tactile sensor for measuring contact-force is presented. Mechanism of measuring contact-force in this tactile sensor is based on impedance changing of piezoelectric crystal and voltage of different points in circuit as a result of applying force on the crystal. By considering a specific point in the circuit and recording the changes of its voltage, ma...
